You are welcome to get in contact and make a self-referral. Some people are referred by their general practitioner under a Mental Health Care Plan. Other professionals may also refer.
Psychology Todaywill show current availability. Unfortunately, Michelle can be booked out and can't always accept new referrals. This is due to high demand for psychology services.
Fees
The standard fee is $190 (weekdays) or $195 (saturdays) for a 60 minute consultation. Please note that these fees are considerably lower than the recommended fee schedule set by both the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (APPi). This is to provide greater access to affordable psychological support.
Fees will be higher for Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) as this therapy involves longer consultations of approx. 90 minutes. Many people are eligible for rebates (see rebates below).
Supervision Fees: $190 (weekdays) and $195 (saturdays) for a 60 minute consultation.
Both face to face and telehealth consultations are at the rates above. Find further information about telehealth here.
Rebates
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your general practitioner, you will receive a rebate from Medicare. The rebate is $96.65 per consultation for 10 sessions per calendar year.
Private health insurance rebates may be available to you. Contact your health fund to see if you are eligible.
Please note that you are unable to claim a rebate from both your private health and Medicare for the same consultation.
